New Features
- Multi-Factor Authentication
- To add a second level of authentication to your Syngrafii account, you can now enable Multi-Factor Authentication in your profile.
- New Mobile Signature Pad
- The mobile Signature Pad sent to signers' mobile phones during a signing has been entirely updated:
- A single Signature Pad can be used for all the documents in the Package. Previously, each document required a new link to be sent out.
- The Signature Pad is more aware of the signing state, it will notify each signer when it is their turn to sign, as well as who is currently signing.
- The Signature Pad view (signature or image) will switch automatically based on the field selected in the document.
- The mobile Signature Pad sent to signers' mobile phones during a signing has been entirely updated:
- Video Signing Room - There have been enhancements and additions to the user interface of a VSR Meeting.
- Hosts are presented with an improved Signers dialog when they initially open a document in the VSR meeting. The Host first sends out the signature pad links to the signers, followed by proceeding to the signing of the documents.
- If an attendee has joined the VSR meeting on a mobile device, in the Signers dialog, it will state for that signer that their VSR Signature Pad is Connected. This helps the Host know not to send them an additional Signature Pad link.
- Throughout the signing, when a field (e.g. a signature box) is activated, there is improved feedback on the connectivity of the remote signer's Signature Pad and whether a new link needs to be sent.
- Participant video quality has been improved and will auto-adjust based on available bandwidth.
- Enlarge Attendee's Video - The Host of a VSR meeting can now enlarge an attendee's video window during a VSR session. This feature is useful if the Host of the meeting needs to enlarge a particular attendee's video window to check identification.
- Package Options
- Editing - Allow signers to add additional fields (signature, text boxes and images) on the fly, in addition to the templated fields, while signing documents.
- Deleting Templated Fields (VSR and In Person Packages) - Allow the Host of a signing to delete templated fields while signing documents. This is useful during a signing when it is determined during the meeting that the field is no longer required - previously this either had to be filled in or the template needed to be updated.
- PDF Security - Add additional PDF restrictions on executed documents and MasterFile downloads that determine what can be done with the final executed PDF. For example, you can prevent the printing of the document or copying of text or images from the document. If you need to merge or manipulate the document in any way after a signing, you will need to disable the Protect option.
- Ink Signature Colour - Select the colour of the ink signatures that will be added to the document by signers.
- Templating
- A new Image field has been added to the fields available when templating a document - you can now collect identification or other documents as mandatory or optional fields in the documents being signed.
- Document Signing
- When a document is first opened, it now occupies more available screen space in the browser with the automatic zoom option.
- Signers can now add images from their computer or device that they are using to sign the document, enabling them to either add a saved photo on their computer or take a new one with their device.
- In a VSR or In Person Signing, if the Package Options allow for it, Hosts can now use the Add Image button in the signing toolbar to add an image field to the document to collect images from the remote signers.
- When the Add Image option is selected from the toolbar, the Host will be able to select which signer it is for. The signer's Signature Pad will automatically switch to the image mode to allow them to take and send a photo.
- While signers can currently still send images from a Signature Pad without the Host requesting one, it is recommended that the Host adds an image field to maintain control.
- Once an image is added to a document, you are able to click on it to edit it by cropping or rotating it as needed.
- You are now able to change the colour of the text added to a text field.
- Integrators
- For the Syngrafii Templating Tags, a new Tag Option for optional fields has been added.
- Added a new API call to retrieve the list of Templates.
- Added new Package Options to the API documentation.
- The External Id sent on the initial upload of Files is now returned on calls to the Status API and to the Event Notifications.
Improvements
- Fixed an issue when an international phone number was being added for the signer when the Country was selected from the dropdown menu.
- For Templates and Forms, repositioned the Access Options in the Template or Form customization view.
- Additional validation for supported devices when sharing a screen in a VSR meeting. A Host on an unsupported mobile device will be notified if their device is unsupported.
- Please Note: Due to the recent end-of-life announcement by Microsoft, Syngrafii has now officially ended its support for IE11.
