Summary
Syngrafii's sustained growth necessitates the evolution of our Corporate and eSignature brands. In this release, you'll observe a greater emphasis on the platform of our product brand iinked Sign™, while Syngrafii transitions more into the corporate brand. We launched new websites for each: https://iinkedsign.com being product oriented and https://syngrafii.com also receiving a new look with updated content.
iinked Sign 4.0 brings several features further enhancing the user experience and functionality of the platform:
- New Member Roles give you greater flexibility and precise control over platform access, so that each member can be granted the appropriate permissions based on their role in the organization.
- Teams and Folders introduce enterprise-grade capabilities to your account. You can now create Teams and assign members to them, making it easier to manage users across your Organization. Folders enable you to set permission-based access within Teams, allowing you to control who can access specific folders where Packages are created and stored.
- iinked Sign Packages have additional features to now have fields that are visible to all signers, a Remind Me Later notification, and an easy to access Extend ability for expired Packages.
- The signing experience has been enhanced with features that boost clarity, flexibility, and efficiency. Signers can now review all documents before signing, forward signing requests to other signers, decline a signing directly from the interface, and are automatically guided through multi-document Packages - making the process more intuitive and responsive.
- iinked Sign now integrates seamlessly with popular cloud document storage providers, allowing users to easily create Packages from documents stored in these platforms and have executed documents automatically returned to their original location.
iinked 4.0 New Features
-
Organization and Member Management
- Teams & Folders - Organization Admins (OAs) can now create Teams within their Organization and assign Members to one or more Teams to manage access to Packages, Templates, and Forms. OAs can also create and manage Folders with customizable access permissions across the organization. Additionally, when granted permission, Members can create their own personal folders to organize and manage their Packages, Templates, and Forms. This feature enables you to build a clear organizational structure within iinked Sign, helping you efficiently manage Members from different regions, departments, or roles.
- To give you greater precision and flexibility in managing who can access what within your organization, we’ve introduced new Member and Team roles on the iinked Sign platform. These roles are designed to support a wide range of operational needs, from IT and admin controls to collaborative team workflows. For example, IT users can setup operational access for your entire organization, managing and arranging users into Teams but not having insight to transactions performed by those teams.
-
You can now have multiple members with the role of Organization Owner.
- Invoices will now be sent to all members with the Organization Owner or Organization Billing roles allowing accounting Members to also receive invoice notifications.
- OAs can now view the Multi Factor Authentication status of all members directly in the member list allowing easier accountability of security across the Organization.
-
Packages and Templating
- You can now set a default signature type for Packages that will be the first option presented to signers when they add a signature to a document.
- Package creators can now add fields during templating that are visible to All Signers. When a field is marked as Visible To All, it will also be set to Read Only by default. Additionally, the audit trail entries for all fields assigned to All Signers can be viewed by each of them.
- Package owners can now set Remind Me Later notifications with a custom date and message for Packages. For example, to be reminded about a contract renewal in a certain number of months. This reminder can also be pre-configured at the Template or Form level, so it’s automatically applied when creating new Packages from those sources.
- Two new Package states have been introduced: Executed and Expired. Packages with unsigned documents by the Sign By date will be automatically transitioned to an Expired state. If a VSR Package has unsigned documents in it, it will be set to Expired 7 days after the scheduled meeting.
- A new Extend action button is now available for expired Packages. By default, this will extend the Sign By date by 7 days. A Reschedule option allows you to easily re-scheduled Expired VSR Packages too.
- A limit has been introduced on the number of changes that can be made to a Package. This helps ensure efficient use of the system and maintains the integrity of the signing and Audit Trail process. Once the limit is reached, users will need to create a new package to continue making updates. This change promotes better package management.
-
Document Signing
- Signers can now review all documents in a package before beginning the signing process. This gives them complete visibility into the content, helping them make informed decisions. The enhanced review experience improves both clarity and accountability throughout the signing workflow.
- If permitted by the Package Options, Signers can now forward a signing request to another email address if they are not the appropriate person to sign. This allows for greater flexibility in handling signing responsibilities. The MasterFile Audit trail will track the forwarding of the signing.
- Signers now have the option to decline a signing request directly from the signing interface. This feature provides a clear way for signers to indicate they are unable or unwilling to complete the signing. It also helps Package owners receive timely feedback and take appropriate next steps.
- Signers are now automatically directed to the next document in the Package when multiple documents are present. This eliminates the need to click an extra button, streamlining the signing experience. The improved navigation ensures a smoother and more efficient signing process.
-
Cloud Storage Integrations for Document Management
- iinked Sign now integrates with popular cloud document storage providers, enabling users to create Packages using documents directly from these sources effortlessly. Once signed, the documents and Audit Trails can be automatically saved back to the original location or a designated folder. This integration enhances workflow efficiency by eliminating the need for manual uploads and downloads.
- Currently, we offer integrations with the following cloud storage providers with more being added in future versions:
- Microsoft SharePoint
- Microsoft OneDrive
- Xerox DocuShare Flex
- Administrators can manage several aspects of this integration for their users, including:
- Enabling or disabling document Imports and Exports individually.
-
Selecting the types of documents to Export once fully signed.
-
Choosing whether to Export back to the original directory or a specific folder.
-
LongPen
- We have implemented Web Accessibility enhancements for all LongPen application web pages to ensure a more inclusive and user-friendly experience. These updates are designed to support users with visual, motor, and cognitive impairments by improving keyboard navigation, screen reader compatibility, and overall interface clarity. This aligns with accessibility standards and promotes equitable access for all users. We remain committed to continually improving usability across our platform.
-
Bulk Send Tool
- We have developed a console application that allows for the bulk creation of Packages. This tool is intended for high-volume use cases and can significantly streamline package setup. To access and use this application, users must submit a request to our support team. Once approved, we will provide usage instructions and any necessary configuration details to get started.
Update rollout begins July 2025.
