Summary

Syngrafii's 3.2 release brings:

  • Identity Verification of signers in the iinked signing process.
  • A new Date templating field for collecting dates into documents being signed. 
  • Option to blur your video background in VSR meetings.
  • Ability to customize how often the Compliance Audit Certificate (CAC) page needs to be signed and included in the documents in a Package. 
  • Additional branding options to further allow you to customize email notifications sent from the iinked platform.
  • And other enhanced features are outlined below.

 

New Features

  • Identity Verification - Introducing iinked Identity Verification™ (IDV™)
    • Identity Verification is a simple and secure service used to help verify the identity of an individual in a few easy steps. 

      • Document ID & Credential Assessment - Document ID requires the signer to provide a selfie, and capture photos of their identification to help verify their identity. The signer will be guided through the process of capturing and uploading a selfie & one piece of identity documentation such as a driver’s license, passport, or residency card to capture to submit.

      • Identity ID & Identity Proofing - Identity ID requires the signer to provide personal information to help verify their identity. The signer will be prompted to fill out a list of fields including their full legal name, date of birth & address. The personal information submitted will be analyzed against credit data sources for authenticity.

    • The above methods can be used independently or together to fit your compliance needs when creating a signing Package. 
    • The Identity Verification options available to you when creating a Signing Package are known as policies. The standard policies and their descriptions are available here.
    • Signers can easily complete Identity Verification prior to signing documents or joining VSR meetings.
    • Audit Trail - Detailed IDV results will be added to the Audit Trail of the signing Package. Package Owners will have access to a breadth of information in the MasterFile Audit Trail helping assist in compliance of the identification process.

  • Templating - Date Field 
    • The iinked platform now has support for a new template field for entering a Date. In previous versions, only signer date fields were available, but starting now you will be able to add a Date field to documents being signed. When a signer is executing a document, if a date field is required, they can click on the field and will be presented with a calendar picker to select the desired date.   
  • Templating - Checkboxes and Radio Buttons
    • You can now select a default value for Checkbox (checked) and Radio (selected) fields in documents. 
  • Templating - Data ID
    • You can now add Data IDs to fields being templated to uniquely identify them to be used for data extraction after signing. See integration note below.

  • iinked Forms™
    • When you create an iinked Form, you can now share the link to the form via a QR code that is automatically generated for you.  
  • iinked Sign - new Options for the Compliance Audit Certificate (CAC) page
    • Supporting Identification placeholders - Users can now decide whether to Show/Hide supporting ID placeholders on the CAC page.
    • Configure the behavior of how many times the CAC page needs to be signed by each signer in a Package. The available options are:
      • All Documents - each signer needs to sign a CAC page on each document in the Package. 
      • First Document - each signer needs to sign a CAC page only on the first document in the Package.
      • Last Document - each signer needs to sign a CAC page only on the last document in the Package.
    • Increased the customizable CAC page text length from 1000 to 5000 characters.
  • Custom Branding - additional options have been added to the branding page to allow you to further customize the iinked platform. 
    • Ability to replace the From and Reply To name of email notifications - this allows you to have notifications sent out from a common name instead of the Package owner's actual name. 
    • Ability to replace the Reply To email address of email notifications - this allows you to set the email address to something other than the Package owner's email address if a signer replies to the email notification. For security reasons, this can only be set to an email address of a member in your organization. 
    • Change how the sender's name and email address are shown in the body of email notifications. Available options:
      • Name and Email Address (default)
      • Name Only
      • Email Address Only
    • Custom Email Footer - You can now include any personalized information after the email signature. This can include text, hyperlinks, and images. 
  • Integration 
    • Updated API documentation to the latest version.
    • Data IDs
      • This adds support for assigning unique IDs to templated fields added to documents either in the template editor or via templating tags. When creating a Package via the API, you are able to pre-populate templated fields in your documents by passing along template data values for each Data ID.
      • After the signers have signed their documents and the package has been finalized, you can retrieve the values of all fields in the package via the API. 
      • Added an Errors Section in the API documentation to assist developers in their integration efforts.
