How To Change the Advanced Options in a Package

The Package originator can control the Advanced Options available in a Package.

 

When creating and customizing a Package, click on the Advanced tab in the Package Options.

 

Under Advanced, there are five toggle switches and three dropdowns: 

 

AcroForms

  • Presenting AcroForms Fields: This option allows you to control how acrofields (non-iinked fields that already exist in a PDF) are displayed to signers within a document. The available options are:

    • Enabled (default): When this option is selected, the signer can add or modify values in the acrofields while signing the document.

    • Read Only: When this option is selected, the acrofields are locked for signers, preventing them from adding or modifying any values.

    • Hidden: When this option is selected, the acrofields are hidden from signers. They won’t be able to see the field values or make any edits to those fields.

Compliance Audit Certificate

  • Appending CAC page to documents to sign: Users can now configure the behavior of how many times the CAC page needs to be signed by each signer in a Package.

    The available options are:

    • All Documents - each signer needs to sign a CAC page on each document in the Package.
    • First Document - each signer needs to sign a CAC page only on the first document in the Package.
    • Last Document - each signer needs to sign a CAC page only on the last document in the Package.

  • Append CAC - By enabling this option, signers will receive the Executed Documents with the Compliance Audit Certificate appended to the end of each document instead of as a separate attachment.

  • Supporting Identification Placeholders: Users can now decide whether to Show/Hide supporting ID placeholders on the CAC page.

Other

  • Enhanced Privacy: How to Enable Enhanced Privacy in Package Options
  • QR Code - This option allows the addition of a Document Identifier to the footer of each page that can be scanned to request access to the document's MasterFile. By default, this option is disabled.
