Templates allow users to create signing Packages for documents that are frequently used.
- Once logged in, on the application home page, under Templates, click on New to create a new template or Templates to manage the existing ones.
- Clicking on New brings up the Creating a New Template page. By default, the Template Type is Concurrent, you can change the Type using the drop-down. In this section, the Template Name is a mandatory field.
- In this section, you will see a toggle switch Shared, under the Access menu, which can be used to make a Template either Private or Public. To make a Template visible and accessible to other members in your organization, so they can create new Packages using the Template, you need to turn the toggle switch ON, else it will only be visible and accessible to the Template creator. By default, this toggle switch is OFF.
- In the next section, you can add signers to the Template.
There are two ways of doing this,- Assign role names - used when there are no fixed signers/recipients to the Package. You can either, type in user-defined role names or leave them blank for the system to assign default role names. Then select one of the roles (Signer/CC/BCC) and click on Add.

- Next, upload documents by either dragging and dropping them into the Add Documents area or clicking anywhere on the box to open a file dialog window that will allow you to select multiple files. This will upload the document(s) to Syngrafii.
- Once done, click on Next to save the changes and begin the Review and Template process.
- This next screen is where you can review the documents that are being sent out and template them to add signature boxes, text boxes and other fields to ensure that the signers sign all required sections of the document.
- Use the menu on the left to select the signer at the top, followed by dragging and dropping the required fields into the document for each signer.
- Once the templating of the document is complete, you can Save your changes, continue to template the remaining documents (if any) and then either choose to create a Package by clicking on +New Package or Close to use the Template later.
