For all Packages, you can enable Multi-Factor Authentication, where the signers need to pass another authentication step in order to open, view, and sign the documents in a Package.
Types of Multi-Factor Authentication:
Text Message - Signers must verify their identity by entering a Security Code sent to their mobile phones via a Text Message.
Enable Text Message in the Multi-Factor Authentication section.
In order for Text Message Multi-Factor Authentication to work, mobile numbers will need to be added to all signers in the Package.
When it is their turn to sign, the signer opens the document and the Signer Verification dialog is displayed and a Security Code is sent to the signer's mobile number.
Entering the correct Security Code will allow the signer to open the signing document. If the incorrect code is added, after a number of unsuccessful attempts, access to the document will be locked for a period of time.
Passphrase - Signers must verify their identity by entering a Secret Passphrase (password) that you share with them.
Enable Passphrase in the Multi-Factor Authentication section.
A textbox appears in the same section where you can enter a secret passphrase. This passphrase must be communicated to the signers independently of the Syngrafii platform.
When the signer opens the signing document, the Signer Verification dialog is displayed asking them to enter the secret passphrase.
Entering the correct Passphrase will allow the signer to open the signing document.
