Available in V 3.5
Users now have the ability to change the type of a Package in case there is a need to change the signing workflow.
This change can be made:
- during the Package creation process;
- for Packages that have been saved as drafts;
- for Packages that have already been sent for signing;
- or for Packages that have already been signed.
1. During the Package creation process
Within the Package creation process, users can switch the Package type by selecting the desired type from the drop-down menu on the Customize Package page.
2. For Packages that have been saved as drafts
For Packages that are in draft state, users can edit the Package by clicking on the Edit button. From there, they can switch the Package type using the same drop-down menu as the step above.
Another option is to convert the Package. Click on the three-dot menu from the available options for the Package and select Convert.
Selecting the convert option prompts the user with a dialog to confirm the convert process. Selecting the Package type from the select package type drop-down and clicking on Yes will convert the Package to the new Package type and the system will open the Package in edit mode for editing. The user can also opt out of the convert process by clicking on No or by simply closing the dialog.
3. For Packages that have already been sent for signing and for Packages that have already been signed
Packages that have been sent out for signing, including fully signed ones, can also be converted to a different Package type. Please note that converting these kinds of Packages will first rescind the existing Package and then duplicate it with the new package type. The signers will also receive notifications informing them that the initial signing Package has been cancelled.
