Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for the Video Signing Room gives you the ability to further authenticate all the attendees prior to entering a VSR session. All attendees are provided with a random/secret code, and while accessing a VSR session, are prompted to input the code to join a VSR meeting.
MFA can be set up while creating a VSR Package, by selecting one of the two types of authentication:
- Text Message - By selecting Text Message MFA, attendees are prompted to enter a Security Code, sent to their mobile phones, when accessing the VSR meeting. Please note that to implement a Text Message MFA, every attendee's mobile number should be included while creating the VSR Package.
- Passphrase - By selecting Passphrase MFA, the creator of the Package password protects the Package and independently shares the Secret Passphrase with all the attendees of the VSR meeting.
Attendees are prompted to enter the Secret Passphrase when accessing the VSR meeting.
If an attendee enters a wrong code or passphrase 5 consecutive times, the session gets temporarily locked out for 2 minutes.
