Issue: You may come across this after you upload a document to a Syngrafii Package and when you navigate to the next section to template the document, you may see that the text in a document is distorted:
Cause: This happens when the PDF is not properly rendered in the browser. The current graphics driver in the computer may have compatibility issues or the display adapter might not support the proper acceleration profile, so it decreases performance instead of improving it.
Solution:
We suggest:
- Update the Graphics driver on the computer.
- If the above fails, you can temporarily Disable Hardware Acceleration:
- Google Chrome
- Open Google Chrome on your computer.
- Click on the three vertical dots in the top-right corner of the Chrome window to open the menu.
- Select Settings from the dropdown menu.
- Scroll down and click on Advanced to expand additional settings.
- Look for the System section.
- Toggle off the option that says Use hardware acceleration when available. This option is located under the System section.
- After toggling off hardware acceleration, restart Google Chrome for the changes to take effect.
- Microsoft Edge
- Open Microsoft Edge.
- Click on the Settings and more (Alt+F) 3 dots menu icon, and click on Settings.
- Click on System on the left side, and turn off Use hardware acceleration when available.
- Click on the Restart button to apply.
- Keep checking for an updated version of the graphics driver for your computer and once available, enable Hardware Acceleration back on your device.
- Google Chrome
