In certain scenarios, clients signing documents may share a single email address and may not have individual email addresses. While iinked Sign suggests a best practice is to always have unique email addresses for each signer, you may now add multiple signers to a Package with the same email address.
When the Package is created, separate emails are sent out to each signer using the same email address, providing them with their unique signing link.
If you do opt to use the same email address for multiple signers, the iinked Sign suggested best practices are to:
- Use Multifactor authentication via text message for each signer.
- Use only the iink It signing mode for signatures and initials.
- Accurately template the document to have signature field boxes assigned to the correct named signers in the Package.
Please note: In VSR and "In Person" types of Packages,
the host of the meeting and the signers cannot have the same email address.
